Privacy, in plain words.
What we collect, why, where it goes and how to have it deleted.
Offload Systems (Toronto, Ontario) collects only what we need to call you back about your free audit and to answer your questions. We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising. This policy follows Canada's privacy law for businesses (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you ask for a free audit, the form sends us:
- your first name and phone number
- your business name, if you give it
- the type of business, team size and the tasks you picked
- the numbers from our time calculator, if you used it
- the page you were on, the site that sent you here and any ad campaign tags in the link
- your browser type, and a scrambled code made from your internet address (a one-way hash). We use it only to stop spam and repeat sends. We do not store your internet address itself.
When you use the chat, the messages you type are sent to Anthropic, the company that runs our chat assistant, to write a reply. We do not save the conversation. We only keep a daily count per scrambled internet address so the chat cannot be abused.
When you just browse, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps any campaign tags from the link for the length of your visit only, so we know which link brought you if you ask for an audit. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Why we collect it
- To call or text you back and book your free audit. By sending the form, you agree we can call or text you about your audit.
- To answer your questions in the chat.
- To keep the form and chat safe from spam and abuse.
- To learn which pages and links bring people to us, in total, not person by person.
We never share your number with anyone else, and we never add you to a marketing list.
Where it is stored
We use a small number of trusted service providers. Each one only handles what it needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores audit requests in its database.
- Twilio sends the text message that tells us about your request.
- Resend sends us a backup email with your request.
- Anthropic processes chat messages to write replies.
Some of these providers store or process information in the United States or other countries, where it may be accessed by authorities under local law. We choose providers that protect information with strong security.
How long we keep it
- Audit requests: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client. Then we keep what we need to serve you and for tax records.
- Chat usage counts: deleted after 7 days.
- Chat messages: we do not store them. Anthropic may keep them for a short period under its own terms, then deletes them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Email info@offloadsystems.ca and we will reply within 30 days.
Our privacy contact is Denys Vasyliv, reachable at the same address.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page. Last updated October 2026.
